The Neurodivergence Equity Line A facilitated-conversation prompt for examining systemic barriers

£10.00

This resource supports structured reflection and discussion about how institutional systems can advantage or disadvantage neurodivergent people in different ways. It is designed for use by peer groups, professional learning communities, or self-organised teams who want to explore inclusion as a systemic, rather than individual, issue.

The pack includes a Microsoft Powerpoint slide deck to introduce the activity and a written guide explaining the purpose of the exercise, suggested discussion prompts, and practical considerations for creating an emotionally and psychologically safe space.

This resource is intended for reflective use and conversation. It does not constitute training, consultancy, or professional advisory services, and does not require specialist facilitation expertise to use.

This resource is designed for:

  • Peer groups, learning communities, or self-organised teams exploring inclusion and neurodivergence in educational or professional contexts

  • Participants aged 18+

  • Groups who are willing to engage in reflective discussion about structural barriers and lived experience

Typical time required:

  • Approximately 45–75 minutes, depending on group size and depth of discussion

Emotional and psychological safety:

  • The activity may prompt discussion of personal or sensitive experiences.

  • Groups should establish clear expectations around confidentiality, respect, and the right to pass on sharing.

  • Participants should not be required to disclose personal information in order to take part.

  • Facilitators (or group conveners) should consider what support pathways are available if difficult emotions arise.
